That's right. I need some closure with Summer. Oh, sweet Summer of 2009. I think I should make a list of all the great things that happened so that I don't forget them. Not that they were unforgettable. But I now realize that memories are just memories. Something that seemed really important 3 years ago just doesn't seem that important anymore. I read a bit of my journal entry from last summer - which isn't even that long ago - and I had already forgotten many things worth remembering. Maybe because I wasn't reminiscing...whatever the reason, it's scary to catch yourself forgetting these things.

The reason for this bittersweet goodbye is, of course, the need to GET CRACKIN'!!~

Another sad goodbye has to go out to my brother, who is leaving for Spain for the next 2-3 years. I'm not sure if I'll go visit him in Spain, but I know that I will miss him. Today, for the first time in 2 years, we had a family dinner at home. Not just me, my mom and my dad. But with Samuel. Just when we sat down to say grace, I felt a pang of strange and unexpected happiness. It was us four again...:) I love you, Sam!
